As the light dances on each piece, it’s pure magic. This glass is incorporated into functional pieces, such as dishes and bowls, as well as into works of art that can be displayed on the wall or in a stand. Specific shapes and combinations of dichroic and iridescent glass are combined in unique ways that require several steps to achieve the final product. Initially, the design and idea is curated in the workshop. Then, the initial pieces of glass are fused in a very hot kiln to achieve varied effects necessary for the next phase in creation
Specific shapes and combinations of dichroic and iridescent glass are combined in unique ways that require several steps to achieve the final product. Initially, the design and idea is curated in the workshop. Then, the initial pieces of glass are fused in a very hot kiln to achieve varied effects necessary for the next phase in creation. These are then added or cut, utilizing many specific instruments and incorporated into functional pieces & into artwork that are in turn fused in the kiln once again. Functional items are then slumped in a mold to achieve their final shape in yet a third firing. It’s a labor intensive work of love.

Our Inspiration
We are inspired by sparkle and dramatic color which, to us, represents the joy and happiness in life. We love that dichroic and iridescent glass changes color depending on the intensity and angles of light shining around the glass. It's absolutely magical. We are both scientists by day and artists by destiny.
